What Tailored is

Tailored is where you keep the record of your work, and where you turn that record into the presentation each opportunity needs.

Two ideas carry everything else:

1. The record is separate from the presentation. You keep one private, structured record of what you have actually done. From it, you build as many presentations as you need, each one for a particular reader.
2. You decide what to show when you present, not when you write. Nothing in your record is shown to anyone by default. So you can write down what really happened, in your own words, and choose later what each audience gets.

Who it is for

People whose best work never produced a slide: consultants, fractional executives, program and project managers, strategists, researchers. Work that is too varied, too cross-functional, or too sensitive to fit a public portfolio.

It is a tool you open when something is at stake, like a pitch, a proposal, a promotion case, an introduction. It is not a profile to maintain or a feed to check.

The three things you do in it

• Capture. A Work item is one piece of work, written as it happened: the context, what made it hard, what you did, what came of it. Nobody sees this version but you.
• Curate. A Package is a small, deliberate set of your stories for one reader, in the order you want them read, each with a line about why it matters to them. The story itself is never changed by Tailored.
• Present. A Package is shared by a link you control. You can put a passcode on it, give it an expiry or a limit on how many times it can be opened, and turn it off at any time.

What Tailored is not

Not a resume builder. Not a public profile. Not a place to upload everything and let the reader sort it out. There is no automatic rewriting: what a reader sees is what you chose to show them.
